Extended Family Session/Ashburn, Virginia

Doing an extended family session including two toddlers is no easy feat during hot summer mornings but with this family its always a fun time! I love photographing this family because I got to photograph both their girls as newborns and watch their family grow. Mom always coordinates their outfits just right and again this year, she had the grandparents and brother join which made the session even more special! 

During these sessions, I do a mix of lightly guided portraits and candid shots. I l love getting family shots, mom with the kids then dad with the kids, and dont get me started with the sibling shots and during these extended sessions when the granparents are there and I get to document candid shots of them with their grandkids make it extra special,  makes my heart happy so I know if it makes my heart happy, I know it makes mom and dads heart happy AND full!
