Hi there! Im going to talk a bit about one of the type of session I offer; In home Newborn Sessions. In home newborn sessions are something I still offer as an alternative than coming to my studio due to knowing how hard it is sometimes to get out of the house with a brand new newborn and especially if you had a c section or hard labor/delivery or have other small little ones.

This session was done in the clients living room and had the perfect amount of light and room for a session which I actully dont need much of either because I can bring my studio lights if needed and really dont need much space for the newborn portraits. We discussed props and setups beforehand and I brought everything we needed. I also give a preparation guide as well.

I have my trusty shusher by my side which is seriously amazing and does wonders and go to work! My workflow is completely baby led meaning we start out with whatever state baby is in, I roll with it. Usually wrapping and swaddling the babies are a good start and we go from there.

I have many props for both boys and girls, but can I just tell you, I have just a little bit more for the girls and can you blame me? Just look at the portfolio and well just below at this session, my gosh, SWOOOOOOONNNNNNN!!!!

Luckily, due to my years of experience with newborns, I actually have sped up my time during sessions. Depending on which package you choose, and of course cooperation of the baby lol my sessions can be anywhere from 45 minutes- 2 hours.
