Studio Newborn Session

My newborn sessions comprise of posed newborn portraits and family portraits, however, for the family portion I love mixing it up between posed shots and lifestyle shots. Alot of people dont understand the meaning of lifestyle, so let me explain it. 

Posed shots are exactly just that, for the baby it would be cute posed in certain ways either in props etc like hands on chin or holding an item. Lifestyle shots are more candid, unposed shots. Like seen below, with the mom and dad they are just shown cuddling baby, interacting, showing love and you can feel it through the photos,  true raw emotions. If its just the baby, lifestyle for babies are just them being them, showing their little facial expressions and personality.

I do alot more posed newborn sessions, because I love PROPS and my studio is filled with so many, but I also LOVE family lifestyle portions  of the newborn sessions as well, If you come to me, know that you would get the best of both worlds! My style has leaned towards light airy/neutral and natural as of late but I love pops of colors as well! Look at this cute in studio newborn session with the posed and lifestyle shots.
